Abstract The world population is expected to be around 9 billion by 2050 which would 34 per cent greater than the today’s population. This will enhance food demand match rising Horticultural commodities in general and fruit particular has been designated as source of nutraceuticals. For reaching up optimum level production, Biostimulants may come with emerging concept meet out this challenge over last decade, utilization natural plant biostimulants gaining importance. use can extensively exploited under crops they contribute towards a crucial role enhancing anatomical, morphological, physiological, that ultimately ameliorated productivity, quality fruits. In addition, application helps promoting physiological actions like photosynthesis, nutrients metabolism, enzymatic activities, chlorophyll, protein carbohydrate content. It also mitigate abiotic stress water stress, salinity, temperature, changes related oxidation–reduction reaction, reactive oxygen species detoxification, signaling, hormonal pathways.
